Day 1

Each Region

Gather in front of the ticket counter at the designated airline terminal and check in
Departure to Istanbul, Turkey

Day 2

Each Region

Arrive in Istanbul and meet with the local guide for a panoramic Istanbul tour.

After dinner, check in to the hotel.

Hotel: ELITE WORLD GRAND ISTANBUL BASIN EKSPRES HOTEL (5*) or similar

Day 3

Istanbul, Kayseri, Cappadocia

After breakfast at the hotel, visit the Blue Mosque, Hippodrome Square, and enjoy a Bosphorus sightseeing tour.

After visiting the Grand Bazaar and other sites, depart for Kayseri via domestic flight.

Upon arrival in Kayseri, transfer to Cappadocia, famous for its unique rock formations.

After dinner, check in to the hotel. Optional Bosphorus cruise: €60 (included).

Day 4

Cappadocia, Konya, (Iconium)

After breakfast at the hotel, visit the Derinkuyu Underground City, Göreme Open-Air Museum, Paşabağı Valley, Devrent Valley, Uçhisar, and Pigeon Valley.

After sightseeing, transfer to Iconium (Konya), famous in the Bible.

After dinner, check in to the hotel.

*Optional early morning hot air balloon ride or safari tour available [Hot air balloon: €320 per person and up].

Day 5

Konya, Antalya

After breakfast at the hotel, explore Antalya, a resort city steeped in Roman history.

Visit Aspendos, Karaalioğlu Park, Yivli Minaret, and the Old Town of Antalya.

After dinner, check in to the hotel.

*Optional boat cruise: €60 (included).

Day 6

Antalya, Pamukkale, Laodicea

After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Pamukkale.

Visit Laodicea and the travertine terraces of Pamukkale (foot bath).

Tour the ancient ruins of Hierapolis.

Enjoy a hot spring bath at the Pamukkale thermal pools (bring swimsuit, swim cap, and sandals).

After dinner, check in to the hotel.

Day 7

Pamukkale, Ephesus, Izmir

After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Ephesus.

Visit the Roman Theater, Library of Celsus, Temple of Artemis, Scholastica Baths, Temple of Hadrian, Tomb of Saint Luke, and the Church of Apostle John.

After sightseeing, transfer to Izmir.

After dinner, check in to the hotel.

Day 8

Izmir, Bergama, Çanakkale

After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Bergama for sightseeing in Bergama and Troy (Troia).

Then, transfer to Çanakkale.

After dinner, check in to the hotel.

Day 9

Çanakkale, Ipsala Border [Greece], Philippi, Thessaloniki

After breakfast at the hotel, cross the Turkey-Greece border at Ipsala by vehicle.

Enter Greece.

Meet your guide and visit Philippi, the Lydia Baptismal Site, and Paul's Prison. After the pilgrimage, transfer to Thessaloniki.

After dinner, rest at the hotel

Day 10

Thessaloniki, Meteora, Athens

After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Meteora, the “city in the sky.”

Visit the Orthodox monasteries perched on the cliff formations.

Enter and tour one of the six existing Orthodox monasteries.
(Men must wear long pants, and women must wear skirts; if wearing pants, cover with a scarf.)

Transfer to Athens and check in to the hotel.

Day 11

Santorini

Santorini, Athens

After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Aegina and Corinth.

Visit the Corinth Canal, Apostle Paul's Cenchreae Port, and other Corinthian ruins.

Return to Athens and visit the Parthenon (UNESCO World Heritage Site #1), the Acropolis, Areopagus Hill, Socrates’ Prison, the site of the First

Modern Olympic Games, and Syntagma Square.

After dinner, check in to the hotel.

Athens

After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the airport.

Depending on the hotel's availability, double rooms may be assigned a king-size bed. Hotel rooms typically have two beds. For example, if you book a quadruple room, the two beds will be shared among four people. Packing List

Please bring a government-issued ID (and a passport if you’re arriving from overseas), a toothbrush, toothpaste, a razor, and other toiletries such as hair conditioner, shampoo, and body wash; warm, windproof outerwear; a hat; a swimsuit; sunglasses; and any personal medications or basic first-aid items you may need.
