Day 1

New York 명문대 탐방 1일차

▶ Individual departure by plane from each regional airport *Please arrive at the airport 3 hours before departure time!
▶ Arrival at New York Airport (JFK, LGA, EWR) and meet with guide

JFK Airport: Terminal 4, 1st floor, departure at 19:30
LGA Airport: Baggage Claim at each terminal, departure at 20:00
EWR Airport: Baggage Claim, individual pickup

※ If you want individual pickup from JFK/LGA Airport, there is an additional cost of $70 per person (minimum of 2 people).
※ When arriving at JFK, please take the air train to Terminal 4. If you have difficulty moving around, a guide will assist you on site.

남편이 2019년에 시어머니와 함께 캐나다 로키투어에 왔었고, 그 때도 오케이투어로 예약해서 다녀왔어요. 믿고 맡길 수 있는 여행사라고 해서 저와 함께 다시 한 번 로키산맥을 보러 왔습니다!! 김윤회 부장님과 함께한 3박4일 로키투어 정말 알차고 유익하고 즐겁고 행복했습니다. 투어 시작부터 직접 손수 그리신 지도로 3박4일 전체 여행루트를 설명해주시는데, 아~ 이 가이드님 정성이 보통이 아니구나!!를 느꼈습니다. 캐나다 로키산맥은 알고 보면 재미있고, 모르고 보면 그 산이 그 산 같고, 그 호수가 그 호수같아서 지루할 수 있는 곳 같은데, 김 부장님은 판구조론, 빙하 생성, 캐나다 역사/문화, 관광지에 얽힌 각종 에피소드 등등을 엄청 자세하고 알기쉽게 알짜배기 정보들로 핵심만 쏙쏙 알려주셔서 장거리 버스 이동 중에 하나도 지루하지 않고 눈이 반짝반짝해질 정도로 재미있게 이동했습니다. 제가 지리학을 전공해서 캐나다 로키산맥 지형에 관심이 많았는데, 판구조론 책을 읽고 직접 설명해주신 부분에서 "아 손님들에게 로키산맥에 대해 제대로 알려주고 싶어서 노력을 정말 많이하셨구나"를 느꼈습니다. 매일 아침마다 그 날 하루 일정을 브리핑 해주시고, 관광 포인트 내리기 전에 다시 설명해주시고, 장소마다 어디는 짧게 어디는 여유롭게 시간 분배하시면서 시간 배분도 정말 적절하게 잘해주셔서 하나도 지루하지않고 유익하게 관광했습니다. 중간에 통신불가 지역 관광지(페이토 호수)에서 길 잃어버리신 분이 있었는데 헐레벌떡 뛰어가셔서 손님 찾아오시고, 관광지마다 예쁜 포토존은 여기라면서 직접 손님들 사진 다 찍어주시고, 불편한 점은 없는지 계속 체크하시는 모습이 정말 세심하고 배려깊으셨어요!!! 중간중간 재미있는 조크도 많이 해주셨는데, 옛날식 아재개그나 야시꾸리한 이상한 농담이 아니라 정말 재밌고 귀여운 농담을 많이 해주셔서 3일동안 같이 많이 웃었습니다 ㅋㅋ 그리고 여행 내내 날씨가 기가막히게 좋았습니다. 아사바스카 빙원까지 다 보이고, 레이크 루이스에서는 해가 쟁쨍했구요. 김 부장님은 손님 중에 날씨요정이 계시다고 애기하셨는데, 짘정한 날씨요정은 김부장님 아닌가 싶습니다 ㅋㅋ 남편이랑 코로나 때 결혼해서 이번이 제대로 하는 신혼여행이라는 마음으로 오게된 캐나다 여행이었습니다. 캐나다인들이 자연을 대하는 마음, 인디언들을 존중하는 문화, 웅장한 대자연 속에서 인간으로서 갖게되는 겸손함 등등.. 많은 생각을 하게 하는 시간들이었고 잊지 못 할 귀중한 시간이었습니다. 주변 지인들에게도 죽기전에 꼭 로키투어 해보라고 권해보고 싶어요^^ 3박 4일동안 감사했습니다!!

부모님과 함께 여름 로키를 방문했습니다. 이동 시간이 많아 살짝 걱정했으나, 오케이투어 전산팀에서 차량 와이파이를 확보해주셔서 수월하게 로키까지 갈 수 있었습니다. 이 점 관계자께 다시금 감사 드립니다. 와이파이가 안되는 지역을 지날때는 엉클 브라이언 디렉터님의 위트 넘치는 설명으로 지루함 없이 투어를 진행할 수 있었습니다. 풍부한 지식으로 로키에 대해 알아 가는 유익한 시간이었습니다. 날씨가 넘 좋아서 최상의 여름 로키를 경험할 수 있었고, 특히 레이크루이스에서의 경험은 잊을 수가 없겠네요. 여행내내 여러모로 저희에게 웃는 얼굴로 신경 써주셨던 엉클 브라이언 디렉터님께 다시금 감사의 말씀 드립니다. 언젠가 다시금 로키방문을 꿈꿔보며 추천 드립니다.👍👍👍

로키와 같은 거대한 자연을 마주하고, 그 기분을 맛보고 싶은 것은 많은 사람들의 로망일것 같아요. 저는 이번 가을에, 남편 고등학교 동창 네부부가 팀이되어, 그 로망을 이루었습니다. 새벽 4:30 분에 출발해서 제스퍼 국립공원 영역에 있는 아사바스카빙하에 도착한 순간은 정말 신비로웠고, 극한 경험이었습니다. 오로지 우리 팀만이 빙하를 차지하고, 짜릿한 즐거움을 만끽 하는 시간이었죠. 캐나다 로키의 대표적인 호수들도 경탄을 자아냈고, 그곳을 떠나고 싶지않았죠.(Bow Lake, LAKE LOUISE, PEYTO LAKE, MALIGNE LAKE,EMERALD LAKE) Kanmore 다리로 가는 길엔 엘프를 만나 잠시 동화같은 느낌도 들었죠. 3일동안 2천 km 가 넘는 긴 길을 주행해야 하므로, 여행사를 활용한 여행이 좀더 안전한 선택이라는 생각이 들어요. 무엇보다도 최선을 다해 즐거운 에너지를 방출한 ”오케이투어“ 가이드 “스마일양”의 노력에 감사드립니다.
